March and a bit of April

In February I shot exclusively monochrome, but I’ve honestly kind of moved on from those photos, and not in any hurry to go back to winter photos. I might still post them at some point.

Since March 1st my Ricoh GR IV has been pretty much locked on slow shutter speeds, which will become pretty evident looking at the photos below. And I don’t really see that changing in the near future. I can’t paint (or do anything else relating to visual arts) to save my life, so this is the closest thing I can do that is something even vaguely similar. Or at least it gives me the feeling of doing something different and creative, which is all that I care about right now. Obviously I’ve been doing the same shutter drag stuff with music photography for well over five years, but never brought it over to any of my other work, so it feels refreshing now. I can imagine it probably gets old pretty fast as a viewer, if you don’t fuck with the style, but nevertheless, I still appreciate you being here :---)

It’s a collection of photos I’ve tagged in Lightroom these past weeks. Some I like a lot, some I just want to post for reasons.

I’ve been listening to a lot of Ruusut while shooting and editing these, so if you want to play along, you can put on ‘Bubo Bubo’ by Ruusut and move on to the photos.
